VKLA The Schedule is Set for Our Annual Charity Program
In addition to the teaching and formation of the children being trained at our Academy, or even more precisely: as part of their training, the charity program organised during the Christmas period plays a significant role.
This entails the visit of each academy age group to different venues and institutions in order to help those in need, and bring a smile to the faces of less fortunate children through their presence, their help, or gifts.
Over the past years, we have visited children and disadvantaged youth in several institutions, and have handed out food to those in need. This year, our academy teams will play an active part once again in the charity events taking place in the period preceding Christmas.
The 2016 program will be the following:
- U14 – 13/12/2016, 17:00, 3rd District Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta, Kelta Street Temporary Home for Families
- U15 – 14/12/2016, 17:00, Pető Institute, 11th Ditrsict, Villányi Avenue
- U16 – 07/12/2016, 17:00, Fót Home for Children
- U17 – 07/12/2016, 17:00, Fót Home for Children
- U19 – 15/12/2016, 17:00, 14th District Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta, Szatmár Street Temporary Home for Families
Similar to seasons past, our players will once again collect the gifts themselves, which we will then take to the different institutions together. In addition, also similar to years past, the Academy will support the children living in institutions with footballs and other sports equipment.
As mentioned earlier, we are of course happy to accept any sort of donation from anyone who feels compelled to give, whether it be fruit, sweets, clothing, or toys, which we will gladly take to the venues we are planning to visit. Many have already joined our initiative, but there is always room for more, so if anyone would like to make a donation, they can get in touch at email@example.com, or come directly to the locker room in Fáy Street, or the football offices in Hajdú Street.
In terms of Pasarét, please look for the Head of the Pasarét Base, Ferenc Hámori. As before, they will take presents to the Hűvösvölgy Children’s Home.
